2026 Roads and Storm Sewer Rehabilitation Project

The District of Port Edward is pleased to advise residents that important road and storm sewer rehabilitation work will be taking place in our community this summer.

Construction will take place on Boundary Drive, from Nelson Avenue into the industrial area, from July 9 to September 15, 2026, and from 755 Evergreen Drive to Alder Avenue and the Sunset Drive intersection, from July 13 to September 15, 2026. During construction, residents and motorists should expect temporary impacts to property access, parking, and local traffic. Please obey all posted signage and follow the directions of traffic control personnel and construction crews. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

This project is made possible through funding acquired by the Northwest BC Resource Benefits Alliance (RBA). This important funding supports investments in local infrastructure and helps build stronger communities across Northwest British Columbia.

The District appreciates the patience and cooperation of residents, businesses, and motorists while this important infrastructure work is completed. We look forward to these improvements and the long-term benefits they will provide to our community.
