Availability:

September - June:
Monday to Friday - available anytime after 4:30
Saturday/Sunday - available anytime

July/August:
Monday to Sunday - available anytime

Requirements:

  • $250 damage deposit
  • applicant must sanitize after meeting or event
  • garbage and recycling must be removed and disposed of
  • sign rental agreement

Cost:

$1 per person - Rent

If you would like to serve alcohol at your meeting or special event you are required to ask permission from Mayor & Council, showing proof of Liquor Licence and your servers Serving it Right Certificate.

Insurance:

Everything you need to know about Insurance for your event

  • All events require insurance.
  • Insurance can be purchased through an insurance company of your choice OR You can click here for an insurance provider.
  • Please do not purchase insurance until a confirmation has been issued by the District of Port Edward (Insurance policies are non-refundable).
  • A copy of the certificate of insurance must be emailed   a minimum 14 days prior to the event.

Indoor and Outdoor Events within the District of Port Edward: The event organizer must provide $2 million dollars in comprehensive general liability insurance listing the District of Port Edward (address listed below) as additional insured.  The District of Port Edward reserves the right to require $5 million dollars in general liability insurance, depending on the scale of the event.  It is the responsibility of the event organizer to ensure that all vendors carry appropriate insurance.
