The District of Port Edward has an opportunity for two (2) Seasonal Groundskeeper to join our Public Works team for the period June 1 to September 30, 2025.
This unionized position performs general groundskeeping duties including the use of ride on mowers and gas powered small equipment. The groundskeeper is also required to assist the public works crew with other general labour and maintenance tasks when needed.
The ideal candidate would have grade 12 or GED, a Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract. The candidate must be in good physical health and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
As per the Collective Agreement the wage for the Seasonal Groundskeeper position is $31.14 per hour.
